The following cases were heard before Associate Judge Mary McCaffrey in Fourth Division District Court, Wakefield.

  • Janet Crocker, 61, of 189 Southwinds Dr. in South Kingstown pleaded not guilty to a charge of vandalism on November 5 in South Kingstown.  She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 1.
  • Connor W. Hornung, 32, of 14 Jenny Lane in Narragansett pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol on November 4 in South Kingstown. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 8.
  • Domenic S. Vacca, 43, of 3986B Tower Hill Road in South Kingstown was dismissed of charges of domestic assault and domestic vandalism on September 12 in South Kingstown per rule 48a upon completion of counseling.
  • Ann Marie Dzingle, 47, of 35 Indian Trail in Charlestown was dismissed of a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol with an unknown BAC on October 10 in South Kingstown upon payment of $250 to the VCIF. A motion to expunge hearing has been scheduled for December 7.
  • Barrett M. Gross, 48, of 61 Stewart Way in South Kingstown pleaded no contest to an amended charge of reckless driving, originally driving under the influence of alcohol, on October 5 in South Kingstown.  He was ordered to pay $639.50 in fines and court fees and sentenced to a 30-day loss of license retroactive to the date of offense.
  • James N. Godfrey, 49, of 20 Oyster Shell Terrace in Narragansett pleaded no contest to an amended charge of reckless driving, originally driving under the influence of alcohol with an unknown BAC, on October 8 in South Kingstown. He was ordered to pay $594.50 in fines and court fees with no further loss of license. 
  • Jeffrey C. Souza, 19, of 335 Cowesett Ave. Apt. 104 in West Warwick pleaded not guilty to a charge of transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor on November 3 in South Kingstown. He was released on $300 bail with surety and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for November 23. He was also brought up on two counts of violation of previous court filings.
  • Erin Rae Kelly, 21, of 4526 Scott’s Mill Ct. in Saugus, Mass. pleaded no contest to a charge of driving with a suspended license on November 7 in South Kingstown.  She was ordered to pay $94.50 in fines and court fees.
  • Heather Lee Carrell, 45, of 16 Old Mountain Rd. Apt. 1 in South Kingstown pleaded no contest to a charge of shoplifting on October 7 at the South Kingstown Shaw’s market.  She received a one-year suspended sentence at the ACI and one year of probation in addition to a $93.50 fine.
  • Edward B. Cunningham, 47, of 586 Tuckertown Rd. in South Kingstown pleaded not guilty to a charge of domestic assault on November 2 in South Kingstown.  He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 1.
  • Keith H. Silva, 39, of 126 Pendar Rd. Apt. 4 in North Kingstown pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving with a suspended license on November 4 in South Kingstown.  He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 15.
  • Christian Sanchez, 21, of 195 Glenbridge Ave. in Providence entered no plea to a charge of felony possession of a controlled substance on November 9 in South Kingstown. He was also brought up on charges of violation of probation for previous offenses.  He was ordered held on $5,000 bail with surety.
