Eagle Scout Pet Food Drive to Benefit Community Pet Food Bank

Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th at Shaw's in Wakefield. Project will support Animal Rescue RI's Community Pet Food Pantry

Joel White, Life Scout of Troop 1 Kingston is leading a pet food drive to support Animal Rescue Rhode Island’s Community Pet Food Pantry for his Eagle Scout project.

The first of several collection days will be held this weekend. Donations of cans/dry dog and cat food may be dropped off at Shaw’s, 160 Old Tower Hill Rd, Wakefield, on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8th between 10am and 2pm.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) partners with the Jonnycake Center of Peace Dale to provide emergency assistance to pet owners in need. This is possible through donations of pet food from our community. ARRI’s Community Pet Food Pantry provides food to nearly 50 pets per month.
