Beachcombing for Families

Rhode Island families have been invited to join URI Marine Outreach Scientists today for a two-hour beach investigation experience. The group will explore Fort Getty, one of Rhode Island's unique coastal beaches.

This program gives young people a special chance to have their questions answered about the plants, animals, and minerals found on the beach.

2012 Beachcombing for Families will be held: Saturday, July 21 from 2 - 4 p.m. and Saturday, August 18 from 1 - 3 p.m.
