The University of Rhode Island Botanical Gardens are scheduled to offer weekly after-work tours hosted by head gardener Gabrielle Torphy and horticulture professor Dr. Brian Maynard.
All are welcome to join the Gardens on any Tuesday evening, starting June 5th 2012, at 5 pm. Those interested should meet at the Gazebo by the Mallon Outreach Center, 3 East Alumni Ave., on URI’s Kingston campus.
Each tour lasts about 1 hour. A donation of $5 per person is suggested. Children 14 and younger can join the group for free.
