Join the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography and Janet Freedman, geologist for the R.I. Coastal Resources Management Council, for a presentation on Rhode Island's eroding coastline on August 21, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
The presentation will discuss how erosion is affecting Rhode Island’s shoreline, where the most vulnerable areas are, and what we can expect in the future. It will also include images from some of Rhode Island’s erosion hot spots, and a discussion of the options coastal communities have for dealing with this increasing threat.
