Fund-raiser for rescued horses:  local author Christine Wolfe will donate $6.99 of the $16.99 cost of her new book, The Language of the Aids:  All About the Different Ways You Can Communicate With the Horse You Are Riding, Regardless of Your Style.

Funds raised will help Bonnie Smith continue her efforts to rescue horses.

The Language of the Aids describes all the natural aids, how to apply them and how each affects a horse.  It also contains descriptions of the walk, trot/jog, canter/lope, gallop and the grazing gait, as well as the different movements horses can perform at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels.  School figures are both described and illustrated, and drills are introduced.
