U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary: Vessel Safety Check

Whether you are out on the water for recreation, fishing, or wildlife observation and photography, safety is always the first priority.  Join U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary Members Sally Hanson and John Ouderkirk will be at the kayak launch site, located in the Ninigret NWR and accessable from the East Entrance, to perform free vessel safety checks for kayaks and/or canoes.  If any individual is interested in this opportunity, but unable to attend, please contact Sally Hanson via home phone: 401.348.9109; cell phone: 401.932.5295; or e-mail: sally.hanson@verizon.net.  Also, anyone interested in boating education courses for canoeing, kayaking, or power boats may also contact Sally Hanson in order to be connected with their education officer.
