Fourth Coronavirus Case Found In Narragansett Police Department

The person is self-isolating at home with mild symptoms.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A fourth case of the coronavirus was identified within the Narragansett Police Department, Chief Sean Corrigan announced Saturday.

The latest case comes two weeks after the first case was confirmed. The person was tested, along with other employees, after the third case was identified.

The person has mild symptoms, the department said, and is self-isolating at home. The three others confirmed to have COVID-19 in the department continue to self-isolate at home, as well, and have mild symptoms, as well.

The Rhode Island Department of Health is conducting contact tracing for the case.
