Free Concert - Eine Kleine Keyboard Music - to Benefit St. Peter’s Community Market Food Pantry
On Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2014 at 4:00 p.m., musicians Cheryl Casola and Linda Wiles will present a free concert featuring piano and harpsichord renditions of popular hymns as well as the sacred music of Bach and, for a twist, ragtime selections by Scott Joplin. The concert will be performed at St. Peter’s by-the-Sea, 72 Central Street, Narragansett, RI.
Admission is free but donations of nonperishable foods (or personal care items such as shampoo, toothpaste, toilet tissue, etc.) are welcome - as are freewill offerings which help St. Peter’s secure food from the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
All donations benefit the parish’s Community Market food pantry which serves more than 100 individuals and families each week. People who benefit from the Community Market come not just from Narragansett and South Kingstown but from other South County communities, as well.
