Good Student / Bad Student: Unauthorized Food Orders & Fake ID's Concern Police
The campus police say they've learned about some identity thieves using university ID numbers to order food from local businesses.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—The campus police are alerting students to an identity theft scam. According to URI, accounts linked to student ID numbers "have been used by imposters to order food from local establishments."
The identity thieves allegedly cleaned out the accounts. Students should call police if they've been victimized.
But then, there is the matter of students who use fake IDs.

"On the other hand," the URI police continued, "the South Kingstown Police Department wants all students to be aware that using fake IDs to enter drinking establishments in South County is illegal and is being pursued aggressively by police."
The campus police are reminding everyone the "University Student Code of Conduct holds students accountable for their behaviors when they are on campus, off campus, visiting other campuses, other states, and other countries."
