Kingston's Camp Beach In SK Closes Swimming For High Bacteria Levels

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Kingston's Camp Beach in South Kingstown has closed for swimming, state health officials said Thursday afternoon.

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) recommended the closure because of high bacteria levels making it unsafe to swim.

RIDOH officials said they will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe bathing throughout summer.
