'Ladies Night' On Main Street Scheduled For This Thursday
A weekly look at business happenings in South Kingstown.

Ladies Night on Main will take place on Thursday, July 7th from 5:00 -9:00 p.m. Stores on and around Main Street will be staying open late and offer specials and refreshments.
Smoothy Booty closed on June 30th. They lost their rented location to Easter Seals, which already has a presence in the Sawmill Building at 213 Robinson St., and desired to expand. Owner Bart Shumaker hopes to find another location on or near the bike path to reopen but for now all the equipment is in storage. Easter seals will be renovating the space and opening a pediatric outpatient clinic for their clients aged 0-21.
Of Corsets Lingerie, 227 Robinson St. will be closing. The store, which moved from South County Commons to Robinson, will stay open through at least Ladies Night on Thursday. All inventory is 40-50% off during the owner's retirement sale.

Woodhouse Wood 'n Coal Fired Pizza, which is taking over the space at 402A Main St., (formerly the Main St. Fish Market) is aiming for an opening in approximately three weeks.
Birdsong Gallery has officially opened at 797 Succotash Rd. in East Matunuck. The gallery hosts the work of 15 area artists including painters, photographers and potters, and includes a licensed concession area to get some after-beach snacks for hungry East Matunuck patrons.

A new tenant at 35 South County Commons Way will be making our doggie friends happy. Johnny's Barkin' Bakery, a gourmet doggie biscuit and food store, will soon be occupying the former corner location of Oop!
