Light Snow for Narragansett, SK Tuesday Night; Bitter Cold Rest of Week

A warmup may be in the works next week.

A bitter cold snap in the region will stretch through the end of the week.

The National Weather Service said there will be snow Tuesday night, with 1-2 inches of accumulation.

The good news? There’s a chance of a warmup next week, as Monday’s highs are expected to be in the upper 30s.

Here’s the NWS forecast for the rest of this week:

  • Tuesday: Wind chill values as low as -13 degrees. Snow after 11 p.m., with 1-2 inches of accumulation
  • Wednesday: Snow before 8 a.m. High 29, low 5.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 19, low 3.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny. High 21, low 3.
