Light-Up YOUR Life...

     Although, quite often, our ‘knee-jerk’ reaction and ‘natural’ response to ‘evil’ and/or negative-energy from others is to return, ‘in-kind’, the same to them, the ‘better’ approach is to return love, kindness, and understanding instead. It isn’t, always, necessary to ‘fight fire with fire’, especially when doing so only continues to perpetuate dark-deeds rather than loving-light. Each and every good-deed that a person exemplifies to and toward another assists in keeping the ‘darkness’ at bay; whenever a person chooses ‘good’ over ‘bad’, demonstrating that they are filled with the ‘light of the world’ rather than contributing to the prevailing ‘darkness, he or she is helping to conquer the forces of devastation which permeate our world. It doesn’t require that GREAT things be done by ‘BIG-WIGS’ to work toward that ‘end’...to try making the world a ‘better-place’; quite to the contrary, it is the small, everyday -deeds of common-folk that can hold evil ‘in check’. Any loving acts of kindness performed in Jesus’ name, or for the sake of contributing to the overall ‘good’ in the world, can assist in helping to ‘turn the tide’ against evil. Those of us who have God on our side are more apt to ‘turn the other cheek’, ‘go the extra mile’, forgive and even love the ‘enemies’ who oppose us; with each of these acts an opportunity to bring the ‘Light’ of Christ to others. So, today look for the chance to ‘light-up’ your world with an act of kindness; whether deliberate or random...you’ll be glad that you did; and remember to BE the ‘change’ you wish to see in the world.
