Narragansett Elects New Town Council, Approves $1.8M for New Athletic Complex

Voters also approved $2 million for improvements to the public safety building.

Narragansett voters on Tuesday elected a new Town Council and approved a new athletic complex.

There were nine candidates for five council seats. The winners were:

  • Matthew Mannix (3,052 votes)
  • Susan Cicilline-Buonanno (2,897)
  • Patrick Murray (2,607)
  • Christopher Wilkens (2,522)
  • Raymond Ranaldi (2,279)

The sixth-place finisher was Douglas McLaughlin with 2,016 votes.
