Girl Scout Troops 80 and 31 participated in the 16th Annual "Take-a-Kid Fishing Day" on June 14 in Brewer's Greenwich Bay Marina. Each child received a souvenir cap and t-shirt. After a briefing in boating safety, the scouts fished in Greenwich Bay for two hours. Afterward, everyone was treated to a cookout.
A very special thank you goes to all the volunteers and the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association for making this event so special!
