Narragansett Police Vigilant After Beheading Threats Against Local Students

Narragansett police said they will be vigilant after violent threats were made to local students this week.
The threats were directed at students in Johnston, Cranston, and Warwick. Police in those communities said they are posting extra officers and stepping up security.

“In response to other schools in Rhode Island being threatened, we will be proactive in patrolling the schools in town,” Narragansett police said in a statement.
WHDH reported the threats were made in a handwritten note that said students would be “beheaded.” The FBI is investigating the matter.
