Pugh Leads Pack Of 16 In Narragansett Town Council Primary
When mail-in votes trickle in, a field of 16 Narragansett Town Council candidates will be whittled down to 10.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The preliminary results are in for the Narragansett Town Council Primary, and according to the Rhode Island Board of Elections, incumbent Jesse Pugh leads the pack of 16 candidates with 710 votes. Mail-in votes have yet to be counted.
If the results hold, the top 10 candidates will move on to the general election Nov. 3. All four incumbents were among the 10 in the lead. Those 10 candidates leading include:
- Jesse Pugh
- Susan Cicilline Buonanno
- Patrick Murray
- Richard M. Lema
- Ewa M. Dzwierzynski
- Jill Lawler
- Joseph Robenhymer
- Steven J. Ferrandi
- Michael Millen
- Laurie Kelley
Results reported Tuesday do not include mail-in votes, which are expected to be counted by Thursday.
