The Town Council postponed its vote on whether or not to buy the old Belmont Supermarket as the site for the revamped library.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The Town Council postponed its vote on whether or not to buy the old Belmont Supermarket as the site for the revamped library. It was expected to make a decision Monday night. But according to Naomi MacDonald, the councilors opted to continue the discussion to a future agenda. She consulted Patti Arkwright, librarian, who said the councilors needed more time to make a decision.
