Police Log: November 5, 2010

The following reports describe arrests and incidents reported by the SK Police Department from Nov. 1 through the early morning hours of Nov 5.

Office Gutted by Lessee

On Monday, November 1 police were called to 60 South County Commons Way for a complaint of larceny and vandalism.  Property managers met with police and showed them the former office space for Julia Westcott, 44, of 74 David's Way in Wakefield.  Westcott had not renewed the leave on her office, and was to have vacated the space.  When the property managers entered the space they found that ceiling tiles, faucets, door, countertops, a sink, and kitchen cabinets had all been removed from the space.  Research into the lease indicates the removal of the items was unauthorized.  After a brief investigation the case was classified as a civil manner and no charges will be filed.

Editor's note: This article originally stated that Westcott was to be charged with felony vandalism.  No warrant was ever issued for her arrest.  Patch staff regrets the error.
