Prostitution Bust at Queen Spa in South Kingstown

Police raided the business Tuesday and arrested two women from New York.

The Queen Spa in South Kingstown offered more than saunas and massages, police say.

Officers raided the Tower Hill Road business Tuesday morning and charged two unlicensed masseuses with prostitution.

The raid happened after a detective working undercover went inside, police said. One of the masseuses offered to perform a sex act for a fee. Officers charged inside and detained three people. Two were arrested:

  • Me Lee, 28, of Flushing, N.Y., was charged with prostitution and failure to obtain a massage license
  • Chun Jin, 32, also of Flushing, was charged with the same crimes

Officers did not identify the third person.

NBC 10 reported the business advertised its sex services on Backpage.


South Kingstown police on Tuesday also charged a 59-year-old man with possession of child pornography.
