South Kingstown Man, 59, Charged with Child Porn

A South Kingstown man on Tuesday morning was arrested and charged with possession and transfer of child pornography.

John Meiczinger, 59, of 38 Rolens Dr., Apt. A2, allegedly shared child porn with others online, according to the state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Following an investigation into the trading of child porn online, authorities obtained a search warrant for Meiczinger’s apartment. They said they found digital media with child porn images and videos.

Authorities said there are no indications Meiczinger had inappropriate physical contact with children.

Meiczinger was scheduled to be arraigned at district court in South Kingstown later Tuesday.

South Kingstown police on Tuesday also raided the Queen Spa and arrested two masseuses on prostitution charges.
