Rain, Snow, Subzero Temps for Narragansett, SK Friday
A blizzard already dropped more than 2 feet of snow on the region this week.

More snowfall is expected to develop late Thursday night or early Friday morning and could stretch into Saturday. The storm isn’t a big one—it’s expected to drop 1 or 2 inches of snow on the region. The snow may cause problems for both the Friday morning and afternoon commutes.
Here’s the National Weather Service forecast for Narragansett and South Kingstown:

- Friday morning: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 9am. High near 38. South wind 8 to 14 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
- Friday night: A chance of snow, mainly after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Wind chill values as low as -2. Blustery, with a northwest wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- Saturday morning: A slight chance of snow before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 21. Blustery, with a northwest wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 13. Blustery.
A larger storm may hit the area on Monday, but the National Weather Service said it is still to early to say whether it will make it to Massachusetts.
