Scarborough Beach South Back Open To Swimming
Bacteria levels in the water have returned to safe levels.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Scarborough Beach South is back open to swimming. Bacteria levels have returned to safe levels, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced Thursday.
The beach, along with Barrington, was closed earlier this week due to high bacteria levels. Barrington was reopened Wednesday. Scarborough Beach North was not affected by the closure.
