Comix at Foxwoods will play host to New York Post's "Top 20 Comics to Watch" Sean O'Connor for three nights starting Thurs. Nov. 27
LA-based comedian Sean O’Connor has climbed his way through the comedy ranks to become one of the most sought after stand-up acts in the country. O’Connor’s unique soft-spoken delivery makes his foibles and lapses in judgment, which are presented to the audience, all the more enjoyable and entertaining.
What feels like a run of self-deprecating jokes is actually O’Connor’s conscious strategy to invoke audience sympathy and keep them engaged throughout his performances. O’Connor’s approach is far more elemental to his being, arising naturally from his wavering attention span and overall blundering approach to life.
O’Connor has been named the New York Post’s “Top 20 Comics to Watch,” was voted the “New Face in 2011” at the “Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival,” and has appeared on TBS’ “Conan” twice. O’Connor has also been featured on a variety of Vh1 and MTV shows.

O’Connor is not just a stand-up act, but a writer, as well. He is currently writing for ADHD’s “Lucas Brothers Moving Company.”
