Seasonal Businesses Begin To Shake The Cobwebs

Psychic Kitty is open in their new location in Maine's Shopping Center on Kingstown Rd. in the space formerly occupied by Tara Boutique. They were previously located in the South County Commons.
A new store has taken over the former location of the Lock Shoppe at 51 Old Tower Hill Rd. South County Hydroponics is a store geared to the indoor gardener. They carry all the essentials to growing your flowers or veggies indoors in a controlled environment.
In pizza news, owner Jacob Kamborian has taken over at PD's Pizza, 1202 Kingstown Rd. in Peace Dale and a new restaurant will occupy the former Matunuck Pizza at 920 Matunuck Beach Rd. La Strada Café and Pizzeria will serve salads, sandwiches, and pizza, and they are seeking a liquor license.

Two other local restaurants have closed. The Main Street Fish Market, 402A Main St. across from Masse Chevrolet and Ozzi's Steakburgers at 60 Fortin Rd. on the URI campus. Main St. Fish was a long standing business while Ozzi's only opened last fall. They have another location in Warwick.
Two other locals are open for the season: Del's Lemonade at 49 Old Tower Hill Rd. and Brickley's Ice Cream at 359 Main St. This can only mean one thing...summer is on its way!
