Shellfish Book Talk at Tiverton Public Library

Author Sarah Schumann will speak at the library with local shellfishing family the Braytons about making a living on the water Mar 3 at 6 pm

Through historical accounts and contemporary interviews, author—and razor clam harvester—Sarah Schumann offers a glimpse into shellfisheries of years past through today, bringing to light not only the enduring importance of shellfish to Rhode Island, but also the ways in which the human relationship with these resources has changed over time.
