Silver Award Success!

Join MILLions! Reviving a historical mill site.

For the past five  months, Girls Scouts Kelby and Jackie have been working hard to revive Biscuit City Pond Trail. The Silver Award is the second highest award in Girl Scouts. It takes a minimum of fifty hours filled with determination, responsibility, and communication. Working in partnership with the South Kingstown Land Trust, they have removed invasive species, cleared out old foundations, and made new plaques to inform hikers about the historical  mill site.

COME VISIT THE NEWLY RESTORED TRAIL!

Directions: Take Biscuit City Road off of  Route 138.  Take a right onto Ledgewood, and continue until Ledgewood meets Springdale. The nature trail is less than a quarter mile down the road.
