Special Election for State Rep. Donald Lally's Seat

Lally, a Democrat, served 26 years in the Legislature.

There will be a special election for the seat formerly occupied by long-serving State Rep. Donald Lally, D-Narragansett/South Kingstown.

Lally this week resigned, saying his parents recently died and he wants to spend more time with his family.

Lally’s seat is House District 33, which includes parts of Narragansett and South Kingstown.
