In somber recognition of the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the clock tower bell at South Kingstown Town Hall will toll twenty times starting at 8:46am on Saturday, September 11th. It was at 8:46am on September 11, 2001 that hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The clock tower bell will toll in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost on that day.
