Travel Advisory: Briar Lane In South Kingstown Under Construction

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Road construction is taking place at Briar Lane and construction is expected to last for about a week.

The road is closed to thru traffic and a detour has been set up to use Fortin Road and other roads in the area.

Because of high levels of traffic already on Fortin Road, the construction company scheduled a police detail to assist with traffic entering and exiting Fortin Road at Upper College Road and at Old North Road from 7 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. everyday during construction.
