'Trolley Tuesdays' Tours To Kick Off This Month
A weekly look at business happenings in South Kingstown.

The South Kingstown Chamber of Commerce is running a series of history tours called Trolley Tuesdays. Chamber historian Sandy McCaw will hop aboard the Southern RI Trolley Co. trolley and lead the tour. Tours run 10am-2pm, and include lunch at different locations specific to the tour. Tickets are $25 each and reservations are mandatory. RSVP by calling the Chamber at 401-783-2801. The schedule is as follows:
- July 26th - Matunuck & East Matunuck. Tour the historic Hale House, Theatre By The Sea and the Matunuck Oyster Farm.
- August 9th - Kingston. Tour the Pettasqamscutt Historial Society and the Gilbert Stuart Museum.
- August 23rd - Usqupaugh. Tour the Kenyon Grist Mill and Peter Pots Pottery.
Of Corsets Lingerie has closed. The store, on Robinson St., remained open through Ladies Night on Main last Thursday. The owner has retired.
