Unsolved Murder Case Connected to Lost South Kingstown Boat Still Under Investigation
According to published reports, police were back at the home of murder victim, John Chakalos. His daughter Linda was apparently lost at sea.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—According to news reports, Connecticut police continue to investigate an unsolved murder connected to a mother and son whose boat left Point Judith in September and never returned.
Linda Carman was presumed dead after her son Nathan was found adrift in a lifeboat off Martha's Vineyard. They had left the Point Judith marina on a fishing trip together.

Her father John Chalkos was murdered at his home in Connecticut in 2013. According to authorities, Nathan was a suspect at one time but denied he was involved.
Police were back at the scene in Connecticut today.

Earlier this month, the FBI and local police searched a Lake Spofford, N.H. property once owned by the Chakalos' family.
