URI Basketball Goes Pink But Makes Dayton See Red
After weeks of white out conditions, the Rhody Rams and Gloria Gemma Foundation bring some pink to the state at the fifth annual Pink Out.
KINGSTON – The University of Rhode Island overcame a 21-0 first half Dayton University run to handily win 67-53 Wednesday night before a packed house for the fifth annual Pink Out.
Senior point guard Marquis Jones again sliced up Dayton for easy buckets, finishing with a game-high 20 points. Jones also beat Dayton last year on a last minute shot.
