2. Cheer on the South Kingstown High School Boys' Varsity Ice Hockey at the Bradford R. Boss Ice Arena on Friday, February 4 at 7:00pm. The boys will be taking on East Greenwich High School at this home game. For a complete list of away and home games,
3.Courthouse Center for the Arts Presents "Winter Dance Party" at 3481 Kingstown Rd. in West Kingston. The three day party runs February 4 through February 6. The Winter Dance Party Revival celebrates the 52nd anniversary of the original concert. This wonderful concert gives everyone the chance to get up and dance. This concert will feature full sets by Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Dion & The Belmonts. Schedule: Friday, Feb. 4th, at 7:00pm Saturday, Feb. 5th at 7:00pm Sunday, Feb. 6th at 2:00pm. Admission price is $25.
4. Head up to Boston Saturday with the Neighborhood Guild for a trip to Faneuil Hall. Is your friend, husband or son going to see the Bruins game? Not a hockey fan? Then travel on the same bus with those going to attend the Bruins game, but your stop will be Faneuil Hall.
You will have four hours to shop or do other activities while the hockey fans are at the game! Price is $23.00 for coach bus to Faneuil Hall. The bus leaves Shaw's parking lot at 10:30am, we will drop of the Bruins fans at TD North and then proceed to Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The bus will return to pick you up at 4pm, we will then reunite with the Bruins fans for our ride home and arrive back at Shaw's parking lot between 6:30-7pm. if you are ready to see, taste, and touch a true Boston experience, come to the historic and exciting Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
5. Catch some Quality Jazz Sunday at URI with University Artist Series: Jazz- Dave Zinno Trio. This is the first University Artist Series concert of the winter/spring semester at URI and will feature jazz by the Dave Zinno Trio. The concert will offer a mixed program of jazz standards and original compositions by the individual members of the trio, URI Jazz Studies Faculty Artists Dave Zinno, double bass, with Tim Ray, piano, and Steve Langone, drums. The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at 105 Upper College Road. $10 general admission, $5 students. Tickets are sold at the door starting 45 minutes before the concert.
