What Can Ya' Do?

   We all may ‘take issue’ with how the ‘value-system’ in our country seems to be ‘going down the tubes’, or, hold our Government in disfavor for one reason or another; however, these are things, which, in my opinion must be dealt with, as best we know how, in very, individual and subjective ways, for we have NO control, outside of living our lives in the very, BEST way we know how. Although, there do exist countless ways in which I might allow the ‘state of affairs’ in, not only the U.S.A., but, across the globe, to upset me, I rather choose to NOT let this be so; for in doing so, I would forever find something to offset my personal-happiness and state of well-being, and to me, well...that seems VERY foolhardy and pointless. It, certainly, isn’t because I don’t care about all which is ‘wrong’ in the world...au contraire: No...it is because I care TOO deeply; yet...cannot ‘fix’ any of it, as I am only in control of how I choose to live and the behavior(s) I display, while walking this earth. I am sympathetic...NOT apathetic. It causes only frustration, stress, and, angst to allow myself to get all ‘wrapped-up’ in certain issues, so, instead...I pray. I pray for the betterment of the world, at large, and try putting ‘good-energy’ out into the Universe; it’s the BEST I can do. So...as I sit here, this morning, surrounded by the beauty that I enjoy, each and every day, I thank God for my great-fortune, and send out waves of love and positive-energy to all who need it, (this would be EVERYONE, I imagine) and hope that it will change the world, for the better...if only a wee, bit. Just Prayin’...
