Afternoon Preschool Story Time!
Join us at the Redwood Children's Library on Thursdays, at 4pm, for stories, activities, and socializing. Free and open to the public!
Tuesday Story Time is so much fun that we decided to host it twice a week! Toddlers between the ages of one and four years sit cozily as we read and sing songs together. Interaction, and movement of all types is encouraged. From time to time, we welcome guest story tellers. We will provide a small snack. Thursdays, 4:00-4:30pm.

Location: We are located in the Carol & Les Ballard Annex, at 10 Redwood Street, in Newport, RI; across the street from the main building. This recently renovated Victorian house offers our young members the freedom and space to explore, imagine and create. Our shelves are piled high with children’s books, and our cupboards are well stocked with arts and crafts supplies. In addition to materials for school children, we offer our tiniest members developmentally appropriate toys, including puzzles and a train set.
