All Libraries Closed Until March 22: Coronavirus In Rhode Island
All library book due dates have been pushed off until May 1.

Ocean State Libraries has decided to close all public libraries in the state until March 22 in an effort to slow the spread of the new coronavirus in the state. Due dates and library card expiration dates have been pushed off until May 1.
The statewide book delivery system has also been shut down until March 22. The expiration dates were pushed off to allow residents to make use of online resources. In addition, fines accrued on any items from March 1 through the end of the crisis will be waived, OSL said in a statement.
While current holds will be honored, no new holds can be placed for the time being.
