Aquidneck Island Police Parade: Photos

The 34th annual parade, honoring the fallen police officers, enjoyed good weather as people collected to see the color guards and floats.

NEWPORT, RI — A few sprinkles fell, mostly after it was all over, but the weather mostly smiled on the parade-goers at Sunday's Aquidneck Island National Police Parade. The police and their supporters marched from West Main Road in Middletown, past One Mile Corner and down Broadway, bringing the neighborhoods out on their sidewalks and porches to enjoy the fun.
