Coronavirus In RI: 1,450 Total Cases Reported, 35 Deaths

RHODE ISLAND — The latest data from the state Department of Health shows that Providence still has the highest number of cases in the state at 283. South County has some of the lowest numbers, with fewer than five reported in West Greenwich and Hopkinton, while Richmond remains the only community in the state with no reported cases.

The distribution between men and women remains nearly evenly split; there are 126 more men with cases than women.
