Coronavirus In Rhode Island Updates: March 25
Eight new cases of the virus were announced in the state, bringing the total to 132.
In an effort to enforce limits on gatherings of 10 people or more and encourage social distancing, Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo has implemented new restrictions on supermarkets and other big-box stores in the state. Starting Wednesday, retailers will be require to strictly limit the number of people allowed into the store at any time and enforce six-foot distances between shoppers.
