Cyclofemme Mother's Day Ride
Hop in the saddle and ride in this global celebration of women & bikes!
Join Bike Newport, Women Bike RI, and SpokesWomen Cycling on Mother’s Day for a scenic Aquidneck Island bike ride and picnic! CycloFemme is a Global Women’s Cycling Day created to honor the past, to celebrate the present, and to empower the future of women in cycling and the opportunity for positive social change. Encourage women to ride and they will change the world!
So far there are 136 rides registered in 36 states and 15 countries – and Newport is part of it!
The ride leaves promptly from the Bike Newport HQ parking lot at 9 am. Please plan to be there by 8:30 am for pledges, temporary tattoos and pre-ride fueling. There will be bathrooms available.
There will be two route options of 13 and 33 miles, both with cue sheets, leaders, and sweepers.

This is a no-drop ride for cyclists of all abilities. While this is a celebration of women by women, men and boys are welcome to ride!
