Did you Know MLK Center has Fresh Veggies on Tuesdays?
The program is running through the end of September.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Newport is inviting families to take advantage of its vegetable distribution program while it lasts through the growing season.
Every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., people can get an assortment of fresh vegetables. Bring your own bags and take as much as you can use.
Registration is not required for the Tuesday distributions. Vegetables are also available for clients who use the MLK Center’s food pantry, along with other nonperishable food and household items but registration is required and photo ID and proof of residency is requested.
