Easton's Beach Open to Swimming Just in Time for Weekend

After heavy rain earlier this week, the beach was closed to swimming, reopened, closed again and is now open again.

The state Department of Health has recommended re-opening Easton’s Beach to swimmng.

The most-recent water quality test shows that bacteria levels have fallen below the threshold to prompt a beach closure and it is once again considered safe for swimming.

The beach was closed earlier this week, reopened for one day on Wednesday, closed again on Thursday and is now back open — just in time for the Father’s Day weekend.
