Ashley Hewitt will be running in the "Run To Home Base 9K" in Boston on May 2oth to support our military heroes. This event celebrates our military heroes and raises necessary funds for the Red Sox foundation & Mass General Hospital Home Base Program. This program is committed to serving the needs of veterans and their families. Her goal is to raise $1000.00. This race is very special to Ashley as she has had close friends and family serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. This year as well as last year Ashley's inspiration will be her dear friend Margaret lero Larson now serving her second tour in Afghanistan as a medivac helicopter pilot. Admission can be paid in cash, or by check made out to "Home Base Program". Tax deduction forms will be available at the door.
