Celebrate with RI Citizens for the Arts

Bring all your friends and come raise a glass to the vitality of the arts, culture and design sector in Newport county and Rhode Island!

Thanks to the hard work of all of you - our state's advocates and members of RI Citizens for the Arts  and the ACA - we saved funding for artists, arts organizations and creative entrepreneurs in this past legislative season!  It was a hard fight and now we invite you to celebrate with us.

Election season is fully underway, and Rhode Island Citizens for the Arts is working ensure that the arts and creative sector are top of mind for all candidates.  To spur us on in this work, the Rhode Island Foundation challenged RICFA this summer to raise new and added membership dollars to the sum of $7,500 by Sept. 1, 2010. They will match this amount dollar for dollar.  Any new member donations of $25 or more given at this event will qualify for the match and get you a set of Creative Corps dog tags!
