Following 11 am Mass at St. Joseph's Church (Broadway at Mann Avenue), the Columbus Day Parade will steps off at Noon. Grand Marshal is Shirley Ripa, President of Forum Lodge, Sons of Italy, and she will lead the parade to the Columbus Monument at Memorial Boulevard and Bellevue Avenue, where ceremonies take place.
There will be a wreath laying, music, and brief comments. Guest speaker is State General Treasurer Gina Raimondo
A post-parade Italian buffet lunch takes place following ceremonies at Sardella's Restauran, 30 Memorial Blvd., at at 1:30pm. Adults: $12.50; Children: $5. Italian music included.
