Documentary: El Bulli: Cooking in Progress

El Bulli is perhaps the most popular restaurant in the world and Ferran Adrià, its founder, has been called a brilliant innovator, the father of molecular gastronomy and, on occasion, a mad scientist of the culinary arts.
Directed by documentary filmmaker Gereon Wetzel, this film follows Adrià behind the scenes at El Bulli, where he and his culinary team devise the avant-garde recipes that tingle the taste buds of thousands of diners each year. The restaurant, which is located outside of Barcelona, Spain, accommodates just 8,000 patrons per year, but receives more than 2 million reservation requests annually. The average cost of a meal is $350.
