The Empire Environmental Movie Night is a free event that will be held at Empire Tea & Coffee in Newport RI on Friday, February 3rd from 6:00pm- 9:00pm. This event is the last of a four part series hosted by Corinne Clapper a Senior on the Green Team at the East Bay MET School. The theme will be alternative and sustainable energy.
There will be guest speakers local to Newport who are a part of businesses that have a part in promoting alternative energy. Representatives from Newport Biodiesel will speak with the audience immediately following the screening of the documentary: Fuel. There will also be a raffle for two copies of the documentary and the money from which will be used to continue working towards community environmental education.
