Island Books at Wyatt Square in Middletown will host Nichole Bernier, author of The Unfinished Work of Elizabeth D., for a reading and book signing on Friday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m. The novel tells the story of a woman and the discoveries she makes when reading through the private journals of a recently deceased friend and how this affects her own personal life.
Nichole is a freelance writer and has been a contributing editor to Conde Nast Traveler, and has appeared on CNN, CNBC and "Good Morning America". She has also written for Elle, Self, Health and Men's Journal and Boston magazine. She received her master's degree from Columbia School of Journalism and is a founder of the literary website Beyond the Margins.
